Cuba came to us in late October last year with 4 young puppies. She was a wonderful mother to them but now that chapter is definitely over. Cuba needed to overcome some health issues. She had experienced some kind of trauma to her foot which led her to become very lame. Cuba was also affected by heartworm disease. She is now making good steps in her recovery. Cuba has just completed her heartworm treatment and is now recuperating in a foster home. She has come a long way with her walking too. Cuba is looking for her forever people. She is the PERFECT house guest. She is not interested in sitting on furniture or dog beds. Cuba loves to hang out on a cool floor and chill. She is an easy-going girl who enjoys everybody’s company.  Her favourite things include a short walk on the beach, dog chews, regular meals (and others’ meals if going!), nudging and rubbing her face to show her affection. Cuba is about 4 years old and is a low-energy type of dog who is happy to relax at home. She would love to potter around a garden. Cuba would keep the iguanas and chickens out! Given this instinct she would be best in a home with other dogs, not cats. She loves her doggie friends. Is Cuba the girl for you?
